Welcome to kiini sustainable initiative

Kiini Sustainable Initiative is a Non Governmental Organization was established in 2003 and registered in December 2007 under the section 10 of the NGO Coordinating Act. The main objective of the KISI is to work for gender equality, social economic empowerment and rights through the participation of women, men, youth, and disadvantaged people in the society like orphans, marginalized communities to realize their potential and become self reliant.

KISI initial activities were to create awareness through meetings and fora to address issues on: Drug & Substance abuse, Sexual & Reproductive Health, Youth Unemployment, and Poverty among other issues.

KISI has over the years initiated five key programs on: Micro-Credit, Agri-Business, Youth & Gender Empowerment, Poverty Alleviation and HIV/AIDS programming.

VISION

To empower the community to be able to implement their own sustainable initiatives through revealing, mobilizing and utilizing of the hidden resources in order to meet their social development challenges.

MISSION

To work aggressively towards the elimination of gender violence, poverty eradication and address HIV/AIDS matters by reaching the underprivileged and the marginalized with a range of financial services to enable them to realize their full potential.
